The accreditation process is a strategic phase for every study program to ensure the quality of higher education delivery, academic governance, and learning outcomes meet the highest standards. Through an independent and objective external assessment, study programs can enhance their quality and gain broader recognition, both nationally and internationally.
The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) carried out the BAN-PT Accreditation Field Assessment for the Master of Public Administration Program on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The assessment, held in the Senate Meeting Room, Building A, 2nd Floor of the FISIP Undip Tembalang Campus, featured two BAN-PT assessors: Dr. Dra. Sinta Ningrum, M.T., and Dr. Hermawan, S.IP., M.Si.
In his remarks, the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing academic quality. “Through this field assessment, we hope the assessors will provide guidance, input, and insights to strengthen academic governance, the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, as well as the improvement of research and publication quality, which are our priorities in pursuing excellent accreditation and international recognition,” he stated.
Representing the Rector of Undip, the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., emphasized the importance of the accreditation process as a form of external evaluation. He underscored that the primary mission of higher education institutions is to produce competitive graduates who can lead fulfilling lives and become responsible citizens. He also highlighted that “the suggestions and input provided by the assessors serve as guidance for improving our processes to produce high-quality graduates.” He further expressed hope that all efforts aimed at building an effective learning system capable of generating outstanding graduates would be facilitated and yield the best possible outcomes.
The field assessment is expected to strengthen the Master of Public Administration Program at FISIP Undip in advancing sustainable quality improvement and achieving excellent accreditation as a testament to its commitment to high-quality higher education standards.
