The Welcoming Party of International Relations (WEPAIR) is an annual event designed to introduce new students to university life while fostering camaraderie and a sense of belonging. This year, WEPAIR carries the enchanting theme “HI-Gward,” inspired by the idea of a grand magical castle where young wizards embark on their journey of learning and unity. The theme symbolizes the meaningful beginning of the academic journey for new International Relations students—much like young wizards entering the gates of a magical school to acquire knowledge and experience personal growth.
WEPAIR 2025 will be held in a semi-formal setting, featuring various engaging activities such as a fashion show, band performances, new student showcases, and an awarding session led by the event’s chairs and co-chairs. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (GMT+7) at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip).
Through this event, WEPAIR 2025 successfully achieved several key outcomes:
- Establishing WEPAIR 2025 as a platform for new students of the International Relations Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, to get to know one another and become more familiar with the campus environment through engaging activities;
- Strengthening the bonds of solidarity and friendship among all new students of the International Relations Class of 2025;
- Encouraging teamwork and building self-confidence among the freshmen through various activities featured in WEPAIR 2025.
