Students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro achieved impressive results at the IPB Archery Open 2025. Hafizh Kurnia Ernanto won first place in the Student Recurve Elimination. In contrast, the team consisting of Hafizh Kurnia Ernanto (Business Administration 2022), Heo Ronin Khanugara (Mechanical Engineering, 2021), and Hanif Fikri Irfansyah (Computer Engineering, 2023) won third place in the Student Recurve Team category.
This competition will be held on September 19-21, 2025, at the IPB Dramaga Gymnasium in Bogor. Participation in this competition aims to hone the skills of student archery athletes while bringing pride to Universitas Diponegoro on the national stage.
The athletes underwent an internal selection process, regular training, and solid match strategies. In the elimination round, Hafizh performed consistently with high scores, which led him to become the champion. In the team event, good teamwork and communication were the keys to success in achieving third place.
