From thousands of applicants, only 100 participants were chosen by the international committee based on the quality of their abstracts, research originality, and contributions to the advancement of global knowledge. James’ abstract was accepted through a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Academy of Youth Diplomacy and Kazan Federal University, marking a world-class academic recognition for Undip students.

The international scientific congress, held from October 1–4, 2025, was organized by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy in collaboration with Kazan Federal University, with support from COMSTECH, ICYF, the Gorchakov Fund, and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During the event, international delegates, including James, received full facilities equivalent to a five-star hotel, VIP services, and direct mentorship from the organizers. Participants also had the opportunity to attend various official events, including meetings with the Russian Minister of Youth, government officials, senior academics, and international diplomacy figures.

In the scientific presentation session, James presented his research before an audience of international researchers, prominent academics, and representatives of multilateral organizations. The abstract presented will be published in an official international proceeding, contributing to Undip’s presence in the global publication landscape.

“This opportunity is a great honor, not only for me personally but also for Diponegoro University. Being selected from thousands of applicants and engaging in direct dialogue with academic leaders and world diplomacy figures is an invaluable experience,” James stated.

James’ participation is part of Undip’s Students Go International (SGI) and World Class University (WCU) programs, reaffirming the university’s commitment to preparing students to compete on the global stage.
