In an effort to strengthen entrepreneurial literacy among young people, a community service program titled “Youth Economic Empowerment through Branding Education and Digital Business Initiation Based on E-Commerce” was held on October 31, 2025. The initiative was independently organized and carried out by a team of lecturers: Nurist Surayya Ulfa, Arfika Pertiwi Putri, Herlina Kusumaningrum, Irawati Sri Wulandari, and Kholidil Amin.
This program focused on enhancing youths’ knowledge and skills in utilizing communication technology for productive activities, particularly in the field of digital entrepreneurship. Participants received comprehensive insights on branding strategies, digital marketing, and business opportunities available through e-commerce platforms and social media.
During the presentation session, Kholidil Amin emphasized that entrepreneurship in the digital era has become increasingly accessible. “Starting a business no longer requires renting a physical space. With just a mobile phone and social media, anyone can begin running a business from home,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Irawati Sri Wulandari highlighted the many young and successful entrepreneurs who can serve as inspiration for today’s youth to take their first step. “The key is simply the willingness to try,” she stressed.
Additionally, Arfika Pertiwi Putri introduced the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support digital promotional activities, including generating captions and creating engaging marketing content.
This program aims to motivate young people to explore their potential and build economic independence from an early age. It stands as a concrete effort to foster an entrepreneurial spirit that is adaptive to advancements in communication technology and the digital economy.
Through collaborative and innovative efforts, this initiative reaffirms the commitment of academic communities to empowering the younger generation, enabling them to become competitive and resilient in the era of the creative economy and digital transformation.
