Diponegoro University Expands Eligibility Criteria for Single Tuition Fee (UKT) Refund for Odd Semester 2025/2026

Diponegoro University has issued a new policy regarding the refund of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. This policy is an improvement from the previous regulation and expands the eligibility criteria for students who can apply for a UKT refund.

Policy Changes:

Previous Policy:
Students who enrolled in ≤ 6 credits in:

  • Semester 9 and beyond for three-year diploma programs
  • Semester 11 and beyond for bachelor’s/applied bachelor’s programs and had paid the full UKT without reduction, could apply for a maximum 50% UKT refund.

Revised Policy:
Students who enroll in ≤ 6 credits in:

  • Semester 7 and beyond for three-year diploma programs
  • Semester 9 and beyond for bachelor’s/applied bachelor’s programs and have paid the full UKT without reduction, can apply for a UKT refund.

Deadline:
Students must upload their application letter and supporting documents no later than November 7, 2025.

This policy is expected to be promptly communicated to all students and relevant parties within the Diponegoro University environment. The expanded criteria provide a broader opportunity for students to receive a UKT refund, particularly for those in their final semesters with a light study load.
