Semarang (11/4) — In a joint effort to strengthen inter-university synergy and enhance service quality, graduate competency, and competitiveness at both the national and international levels, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Lampung (Unila) conducted an official visit and signed a Cooperation Agreement with FISIP Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). This initiative marks a strategic step for both institutions to exchange experiences and best practices in faculty governance, academic quality improvement, as well as the development of research and educational collaborations.
The event took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Senate Meeting Room, Building A, 3rd Floor, FISIP Undip Campus, Tembalang. The Unila delegation, led by the Dean of FISIP Unila, Prof. Dr. Anna Gustina Zainal, S.Sos., M.Si., was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., along with the faculty’s leadership team, department and study program administrators, as well as coordinators within FISIP Undip.
In her remarks, Prof. Anna Gustina Zainal expressed that the visit represented an academic fellowship and FISIP Unila’s commitment to learning from FISIP Undip, which has achieved global recognition. “As academic administrators, we must continuously strive for improvement—especially in service delivery—so that we can produce graduates whose quality is on par with those from FISIP Undip,” she stated.
Meanwhile, FISIP Undip Dean Dr. Teguh Yuwono emphasized the importance of aligning academic visions across all levels to support the university’s broader mission. “Today, every policy movement—from the Rector’s leadership to the level of study program administrator—must contribute to realizing the Rector’s vision of establishing Undip as an excellence world-class, research-oriented university,” he explained. On the occasion, he also introduced several of FISIP Undip’s key facilities, including the Multimedia Laboratory, FiDiGiTech Computer Laboratory, FIMEL Library, Student Activity Center (PKM) Room, and coworking spaces designed to support both student and faculty activities. Additionally, Dr. Teguh showcased the Single Sign-On (SSO) system as part of the faculty’s digital transformation in academic services.
The event culminated with the signing of the Cooperation Agreement and the exchange of souvenirs between FISIP Unila and FISIP Undip, symbolizing their mutual commitment to building sustainable collaboration. Through this partnership, both faculties aim to continue strengthening their academic networks, fostering research collaboration, and producing highly competitive graduates at both the national and international levels.
