SEMARANG (10/06) – High-standard laboratory governance is a crucial pillar in achieving excellent accreditation and supporting the implementation of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK). To deepen their knowledge and learn best practices in this management, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Riau (Unri) conducted a visit to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). This knowledge exchange took place on Monday, October 6, 2025, in the Senate Meeting Room, Building A, 2nd Floor, at the FISIP Undip Campus in Tembalang.
The delegation from FISIP Unri, comprising Dr. Baskoro Wicaksono, S.IP., M.IP. (Lecturer in Government Studies) and Husein Al Muhtadeebillah, S.St., M.A.B. (Lecturer in Business Administration), was warmly welcomed by the Vice Dean for Resources of FISIP Undip, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D., along with a team of laboratory coordinators, manager, and supervisors within FISIP Undip.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Baskoro Wicaksono conveyed the purpose of their visit. He explained, “We are here to learn, specifically to address our gaps in laboratory regulations and the necessary resources, particularly those related to the requirements for the ‘Excellent’ accreditation set by LAMSPAK.” This statement underscored the visit’s focus on enhancing internal quality to meet stringent accreditation standards.
In response, the FISIP Undip team shared their experiences and best practices. The warm and productive discussion centered on several key pillars: laboratory governance and management, the implementation of digital transformation to support academic services, and the strategic steps and challenges in preparing for the Integrity Zone designation.
This visit not only strengthened the network between the two prominent faculties but also reflected a shared commitment to continuously improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia. Through knowledge-sharing initiatives like this, FISIP Undip demonstrates its contribution as a partner for other educational institutions in collectively achieving governance standards that are excellent, accountable, and full of integrity.
