Semarang, (12/03) — In an effort to discover and enhance talents within the Public Administration environment, one of the flagship programs of the Public Administration Student Association (HMPS) has finally been held: Porseni Publik 2025. This year’s Porseni Publik featured several competition branches, namely sports, arts, and fun games. Carrying the theme “Ocean of Talent in a Wave of Victory,” the event was held from March 12–16, 2025. The aim of this program was to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness within the Public Administration community, as well as to serve as a platform to identify talented students who will later represent Public Administration in the FISIPMARS competition.

The first day of Porseni Publik 2025 ran smoothly with a series of activities. It began with a symbolic opening ceremony by the head of the organizing committee, followed by mini games participated in by all departments of HMPS Public Administration, and concluded with an inter-cohort basketball match, which was won by the 2022A cohort. Several Public Administration lecturers also attended the event and helped enliven the opening of Porseni Publik 2025.

The second day featured an inter-cohort badminton tournament using a knockout system. The categories contested were men’s doubles and mixed doubles. This year, the men’s doubles category was won by the pair Ferdi – Fraka (2021), who defeated Farros – Baihaqi (2023). The mixed doubles category was won by Nabiel – Keisha (2022), who beat Afdi – Galuh (2022).

The third day of Porseni included two main activities: the final day for participants to submit their artworks online, and an inter-cohort futsal competition featuring students from the 2021 to 2024 cohorts. The league system was used, in which all cohorts faced off and the champion was determined through a final match between the top two rankings. This year’s futsal competition was won by the 2021 cohort, who defeated the 2022 cohort in the final.

On the fourth day, the event continued with the Fun Games competition in FIFA. Using a knockout system with 16 participants from various cohorts, the matches were intense and engaging. The final saw Fikri (2023) faces off against Zhilan (2022), with Fikri (2023) emerging as the winner, adding valuable points to his cohort’s overall championship tally.

Semarang, (16/03) — The final day of Porseni Publik 2025 was lively and festive. It kicked off with the Fun Games competition in Mobile Legends, which brought together participants from various cohorts. The competition consisted of several rounds: the first round used a Best-of-1 system, the second round Best-of-3, and the final round used a Best-of-5 format. This year, two representatives from the 2024 cohort made it to the final after defeating teams from other cohorts and ultimately won the Mobile Legends competition.
