Semarang, June 19, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Diponegoro (FISIP Undip) has officially launched the FISIP Undip Channel, a dedicated YouTube platform designed to serve as a hub for scholarly dissemination by FISIP academics to the broader public.

The launch event, held at the FISIP Undip Auditorium starting at 09:00 A.M., was attended by the Dean of FISIP Undip, Vice Deans, faculty members, and invited guests. The FISIP Undip Channel is envisioned as a medium for sharing diverse ideas, research findings, and relevant social and political issues in a more accessible and engaging manner.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, Dean of FISIP Undip, emphasised that the channel’s launch is part of the university’s digital transformation and reflects FISIP’s commitment to fostering an adaptive and innovative academic culture.

“Through the FISIP Undip Channel, we aim to create a space for healthy public discourse, promote faculty and student research, and enhance public communication in the digital era,” he stated.

The FISIP Undip Channel will feature several flagship programs, including: One Minute Insight: Concise social analyses delivered by FISIP experts in under a minute and Kata Pakar (Expert’s Perspective): Discussions on current socio-political issues with academics and practitioners. Moving forward, the channel will also introduce new programs exploring the latest academic developments from the ‘Orange Campus’ community.

The launch event was enlivened by a series of activities, including a preview of flagship programs, the introduction of the World Class Faculty initiative, a celebration of the Master of Business Administration program’s accreditation, and a farewell tribute to retiring faculty members. The enthusiastic participation underscored the channel’s anticipated role as a significant innovation within FISIP.

The FISIP Undip Channel is accessible via FISIP Undip’s official YouTube platform. All content will be academically curated to ensure quality and informational integrity.

With this new channel, FISIP Undip reinforces its position as an institution that excels not only in education and research but also actively contributes to public literacy, opinion formation, and social transformation through digital media.
