Semarang, August 27, 2025 – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) continues to be a magnet for the younger generation. This time, it was SMA AL-ABIDIN Bilingual Boarding School (ABBS) Surakarta that visited with a large delegation, consisting of 191 female students and 12 accompanying teachers. The visit was conducted in a warm, enthusiastic, and inspiring atmosphere.

The delegation was warmly received by Dinalestari Purbawati, S.E., M.Si., Akt., representing the Dean of FISIP Undip. In her welcoming remarks, Dina encouraged the students to confidently consider applying to FISIP Undip. She emphasized that FISIP offers outstanding study programs with both national and international accreditation. Furthermore, the Faculty provides an International Undergraduate Program (IUP), which allows students to study abroad for one to two semesters, as well as a double degree program that opens doors to global academic experiences.

The atmosphere grew even more lively as the students actively responded and asked questions during the session with the speakers. Their enthusiasm reflected a strong eagerness to gain deeper insights into academic life at FISIP Undip.

The representative from SMA ABBS Surakarta, Umi Wahidatul Latifah, S.Pd.., affectionately known as Miss Ifah, expressed her appreciation. “We extend our gratitude to FISIP Undip for the warm welcome and the knowledge shared. It is hoped that this visit provides real guidance for the students in choosing study programs that align with their interests and abilities. May this visit strengthen our relationship and foster positive synergies in the future.”

The socialization and study program introduction session, delivered by FISIP lecturers, was highly interactive. The engaging presentation captivated the students, who not only listened attentively but also participated enthusiastically in the discussion.

The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing the precious and spirited moment between SMA AL-ABIDIN Bilingual Boarding School Surakarta and FISIP Undip.

Through this visit, FISIP Undip reaffirmed its commitment to serving as an educational partner and a source of inspiration for Indonesia’s younger generation, particularly high-achieving students from leading schools.
