Semarang (08/15) — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), officially concluded the series of Teaching Using English as Medium Instruction (TEMI) Workshops on Friday, August 15, 2025. The closing event, held at the Diponegoro Muda Student Activity Center Hall, Building D, 1st Floor, FISIP Undip Campus, Tembalang, marked the completion of a five-day program that took place from August 11 to 15, 2025.
FISIP Undip’s Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, S Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., PhD, was present to officially close the event. In her remarks, she expressed appreciation for the active participation of the faculty members and acknowledged the valuable contributions of the international trainer who had delivered the sessions comprehensively.
The workshop featured David Bradbury from IALF Bali, who equipped lecturers with essential skills for teaching using English as the medium of instruction in the classroom. Through the training, participants not only learned techniques for delivering course material in English but also strategies for fostering effective interaction with students in the context of internationally oriented teaching.
The TEMI Workshop is part of FISIP Undip’s commitment to advancing the internationalization of higher education, particularly in cultivating an academic environment that is adaptive to global developments. With the conclusion of this workshop series, it is expected that faculty members will be able to apply the skills acquired in their teaching activities, thereby enhancing the quality of education at FISIP Undip to be more competitive at the international level.
