The IDBU 59 KKN-T team adopted the theme: “Improving MSME Quality, Productivity, and Competitiveness through Digital Transformation.” Guided by this core theme, the students carried out their multidisciplinary initiative by helping local MSMEs in Rowosari harness digital media to enhance the quality and competitiveness of their businesses. The socialization on marketing and branding and the introduction of spinner machine technology were part of the execution of this overarching theme.
Following a warm welcome from the faculty advisor of the IDBU 59 KKN-T team, Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si., and the head of RW 09, Mr. Ismanto, S.Pd., the main event began with a training session on the use of the spinner machine. Achmad Romy explained and demonstrated how the spinner machine functions to improve food product quality by reducing excess oil. A test trial using fried banana chips successfully extracted excess oil, drawing great enthusiasm from the MSME participants.
