Not only in the professional realm, Siva is also active in empowering the younger generation. Siva is the Founder of Indonesia Youth Movement for TB, increasing youth participation in health issues. In addition, Siva is also a Global Mentor for WeDU Woman in Public Health (YSEALI), mentoring young women in Southeast Asia. Then, Siva is also active in Youth Advocates UNFPA, advocating for adolescent reproductive health rights. Not only that, Siva also once participated as a Speaker at the TB Summit TedX New York, representing the voice of youth from a high TB burden country.
Her work has been published in the Strategic Review Journal and exhibited at the Youth for Lung Health Union Conference (Paris, 2023) through an art installation that tells the story of TB survivors.
“HI Undip studies taught me to see health issues as global challenges that require cross-border collaboration. Don’t hesitate to take roles outside your comfort zone, because every small step can be the beginning of big change,” said Siva.
With her achievements and contributions, Siva Anggita Maharani proves that HI Undip graduates are capable of competing internationally and becoming agents of change. Congratulations and continued success to Siva!
