Semarang (04/28) – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) once again welcomed a special visit from Assalaam Senior High School in Sukoharjo Regency. This visit marks the continuation of a close relationship between the two institutions in fostering academic enthusiasm among the younger generation.

A total of 62 enthusiastic students attended the event, attentively following the presentations delivered during the session. A warm welcome was extended by Mr. Agus Naryoso, S.Sos., M.Si., representing the Dean of FISIP Undip. On this occasion, Mr. Agus—affectionately known as Pak Gusnar—delivered a detailed presentation on the strengths of FISIP Undip, emphasizing its reputation as a “world-class faculty” and one of the top universities in Indonesia and beyond.

The students showed great enthusiasm in engaging with representatives from each department. They not only listened attentively but also actively asked questions about admission pathways, selection tips, and study opportunities at FISIP Undip.

Mr. Maryono, S.T., a representative from Assalaam Senior High School, expressed his gratitude. “We sincerely thank you for the warm welcome and the knowledge shared. We hope that more of our students will be accepted at Undip in the future, especially in FISIP,” he said hopefully.

The academic program introductions were conducted in an engaging and interactive format, creating a lively atmosphere that encouraged student participation. More than just listening, the students were also motivated to prepare themselves thoroughly to pursue further studies at FISIP Undip.

To conclude the visit, the students were invited on a campus tour to explore various leading facilities, including the laboratories of FISIP Undip’s five academic programs. This firsthand experience further strengthened their interest in the “orange campus.”

In addition to Assalaam Senior High School, FISIP Undip also hosted a visit from Tunas Mekar Indonesia Senior High School from Bandar Lampung earlier this April, reflecting the high level of interest among schools in choosing FISIP as a premier destination for higher education.

FISIP Undip remains committed to opening its doors to the younger generation, offering them a closer look into the academic world and preparing them to become future leaders.
